My TIIL

Firtst things first: Engine was in a terrible state: Needed new pistons, new cilinder head, bearings, seals, you name it.The revision was done by "Vos revisie"

The parts manager at "BMW Boltendal" inVeendam had a day's work to sort all new nuts and bolts for me...

Then it needed somethining to stand on: New "legs", shocks, calipers (in 2008), brake lines, rubbers, all new painted etc.

Then the metallwork: Ordered everything, all sheet metall, except the roof panel, new at BMW. My brother Hans (a designated Zundapp 50cc racer) welded the parts in and repaired where needed.He made the old forms again as it used tocame from the factory.

The bottom of the car had new inserts where needed, allso in the same shape as original. Pics will say it all... (the earlies aren't that good, while taken in 1988, when we started this job).
